Before The Night Begins is a self-published zine that explores the excitement and rituals of the pre-game before a girls night out. The publication captures moments such as pre drinking together, trying on outfits, and getting ready together with makeup and music. I illustrated every image in the zine, bringing a playful tone to the storytelling. To compliment the visuals, I also designed a custom font, which was used throughout the conversational sections of the book, giving the dialogue a lively and personal feel.
